Awareness Seminar on : (Dangers of Drugs and Their Effects on Society)

Educational Guidance Unit at College of Islamic Sciences, in cooperation with Follow-up Department at Al-Iraqia University and in coordination with Training and Development Department in the University Security Directorate of (Iraqi National Security Service), held an awareness workshop on the dangers of drugs and their effects on society.

The goal of the workshop, which was attended by Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Kazem Khalifa Hammadi, the head of the Follow-up Department, Professor Abdul-Jabbar Sabri, and a number of college teachers, was to (protect the students of the university community from foreign cultures and provide its members with awareness to confront the dangers of drugs and their negative effects that lead to the disintegration of society and the spread of crime).

Presented by representatives of the agency, it included the most important causes of the recent spread of drugs and ways to prevent them, as well as the indicators that appear on addicted people, in addition to the methods followed by traffickers in prohibited substances to trap victims in the trap of addiction.
