College of Engineering holds a workshop entitled Activating Bologna Path / Improving Quality of Higher Education and Increasing Employment Opportunities,

Under the patronage of Rector of Al-Iraqia University, Prof. Dr. Ali Saleh Al-Jubouri, supervised by Dean of College of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Malik Abdel Razzaq.Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit held a workshop entitled Activating the Bologna Path / Improving Quality of Higher Education and Increasing Employment Opportunities, delivered by Eng. Dr. Ruaa Muthanna Ali and Dr. Zainab Abbas Fadel.

The workshop included enhancing vocational guidance and employment by developing students’ skills to meet the needs of labor market and developing flexible study programs by the college that are appropriate to the changing needs of the labor market.

The workshop aimed to improve the quality of higher education and enhance employment opportunities, which is linked to Bologna Initiative that was implemented with the aim of improving the higher education system. It includes a set of objectives, such as introducing students to how to improve the quality of education by applying this system and introducing them to the most important characteristics for any engineer to integrate into the labor market.
