(The Effect of Foreign Currency Sale Window in General Budget of Iraq for Period (2004-2019)

In presence of Rector of Al- Iraqia University, Prof. Dr. Ali Hussein Al-Jubouri and the Dean of College of Administration and Economics, Assistant Prof. Dr. Hamid Ali Ahmed Al-Mulla, a master’s thesis was discussed in College of Administration and Economics/Department of Financial and Banking Sciences entitled ( Impact of Foreign Currency Sale Window on  General Budget of Iraq for the period (2004_2019)

The Thesis recommended the need to work to limit expansion of government spending, which is the main reason for the increase in supply (sales) of dollar and the increase in the central bank’s demand for dollar, which constitutes a rise in the total demand for currency. Ministry of Finance must demand local revenues in order for the bank’s purchases from Ministry to decrease. The Central Bank must activate the role of banking sector in the investment process and direct it towards the targeted production areas, providing facilities and incentives towards that, while setting strict controls on foreign transfers.
