College of Arts and House of Wisdom Celebrates (Dhad Day)

College of Arts, in cooperation with House of Wisdom and Scientific Academy, held a cultural ceremony on the occasion of International Day of Arabic Language (Dhad Day). The ceremony included a speech by the Head of Department of Linguistic Studies and Translation at (House of Wisdom), Prof. Dr. Redha Kamel Al-Musawi, President of Iraqi Scientific Academy, the poet, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Hussein Al Yassin, and the Dean of College of Arts, delivered by Prof. Dr. Youssef Khalaf Mahal. College of Arts also presented a documentary film about the college’s achievements from the founding to the present. The ceremony included reciting poetry and a display of folk costumes, and concluded with distribution of participants certificates.
