Workshop at the College of Education on Preparing for the Labor Market

The Computer Department at the College of Education, Al-Iraqia University, organized a workshop on preparing for the labor market, on Sunday 23/2/2025.
The department hosted the Assistant Dean of the College of Engineering Technology at Imam Jaafar Al-Sadiq University (PBUH), Assistant Prof. Dr. Muhammad Khamis Al-Janabi, who gave a lecture dedicated to the department’s students and graduates on how to prepare for the labor market and obtain a job opportunity in international companies. The workshop addressed the most prominent learning resources and necessary courses to develop the required skills, in addition to the importance of the GitHub and LinkedIn platforms in building a professional profile for job seekers. The experiences of Iraqi students who were able to obtain job opportunities in international companies such as Microsoft were also reviewed, which gave participants the opportunity to benefit from their experiences and guidance. This workshop comes within a series of activities organized by the department to support students and graduates in building their career path and preparing for the requirements of the local and global labor market.
