A scientific trip for graduate students in the college to the Museum of Natural History

The Department of Biology at the College of Education, Al-Iraqia  University, organized a scientific trip to the Natural History Center and Museum at the University of Baghdad for master’s students, on Monday 2/23/2025.

The trip, which was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Raghad Khalaf Ibrahim, included viewing the historical stages and the stages of living organisms development from plants, vertebrates, invertebrates and their biodiversity, as well as learning about the fossils and animal and plant fossils that exist and are preserved for millions of years and the methods of preserving them in the museum.
This scientific trip comes within the curriculum of evolution and biodiversity for the department’s students.
