Expanding International Partnerships

Al-Iraqia University and the Iranian University of Razi discuss frameworks for joint cooperation as the University had received an academic delegation from the its Iranian counterpart, which included the President of Razi University and the Director of International Relations, on a visit that aimed at strengthening academic and scientific cooperation between the two parties
The meeting was attended by Al-Iraqia University Rector’s Assistant for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Khamis Awad Zidane, in addition to Professor Dr. Kazem Khalifa Hammadi, the Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, Assistant Professor Dr. Duraid Yahya Muhammad, the Director of Missions and Cultural Relations, along with a number of academic members.
The discussions addressed mechanisms for activating previously signed agreements between the two universities, which include the exchange of academic and research expertise, and the development of joint programs in the fields of higher education and scientific research.
The two parties also discussed ways to enhance cooperation in organizing joint conferences and workshops, and opening new horizons for the exchange of students and professors.
The two sides stressed the importance of this partnership in achieving academic integration between the two universities, which will positively reflect on the progress of higher education and scientific research in the two countries.
This visit comes as part of the Al-Iraqia University efforts to expand its international relations and strengthen its partnerships with global academic institutions, in support of its aspirations to achieve excellence in the scientific field.
