Tolerance, Humility and Peaceful Coexistence in a Symposium at College of Education

Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences at the College of Education,Al Iraqia University , organized a scientific symposium on tolerance, humility and peaceful coexistence. The symposium, in which each of Asst. Prof. Al-Amer Abdul Rahman Mahmood, lecturer. Angham Ismail Dyab, lecturer. Rasmiya Sahab Sarhan, several axes, the most important were definition of tolerance and its cases, the definition of humility and the characteristics of a humble person, in addition to peaceful coexistence, and the adaptation between tolerance and humility to achieve peaceful coexistence.
The symposium aimed to define the concepts of tolerance, humility and peaceful coexistence and raise awareness of the importance of tolerance and humility to achieve peaceful coexistence, in addition to defining the characteristics of a tolerant and humble individual, and how to achieve peaceful coexistence among university students.
Among the most important recommendations that came out of the symposium is the recommendation to apply the characteristics of a tolerant personality, the necessity of involving students in activities that encourage peaceful coexistence, as well as the recommendation to apply the characteristics of a humble personality.
The symposium was attended by a number of lecturers and students.
