Muslims Council of Elders , Prospects for Cooperation with Universities in Islamic World

As part of efforts to enhance academic relations and scientific cooperation, the Dean of College of Islamic Sciences at Al Iraqia University, Prof. Dr. (Kadhum Khalifa Hammadi), received in his office the Secretary-General of (Muslim Council of Elders), Counselor Muhammad Abdul Salam, ways to enhance joint cooperation and open new horizons for cooperation with universities in the Islamic world.
During the meeting, the Dean stressed the importance of strengthening the bonds of scientific partnership between academic institutions in Iraq and their counterparts in the Islamic world, noting that this cooperation would enhance the level of scientific research and provide new opportunities for the exchange of expertise and knowledge. The Dean also praised the pioneering role played by these institutions in the Arab and Islamic worlds, calling for benefiting from the shared experiences in developing academic and research curricula.
The Dean stressed that the college strives to open continuous channels of communication with major educational institutions, with the aim of exchanging academic visits and holding joint scientific conferences, in addition to developing educational programs that are compatible with contemporary challenges and supporting the dissemination of moderate, centrist thought that promotes societal peace… For its part, Muslim Council of Elders welcomed this initiative, stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation between educational institutions in the Arab world, praised the academic role of the College of Islamic Sciences, and expressed its readiness to support any step that enhances scientific and cultural cooperation between the two parties.
