Assistant Rector for Scientific Affairs Visits College of Medicine

Assistant Rector of Al- Iraqia University for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Khamis Awad, visited College of Medicine and was received by its Dean Professor Dr. Ahmed Nizar Al-Dabbagh and his Assistants for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Prof. Dr. Nawar Sahib Khalil and Administrative Affairs Assistant Prof. Dr. Haifa Mahmoud Fahd.

Dr. Khamis, accompanied by the Dean of College, toured the examination halls and was briefed on the progress of the examinations taking place there. He also investigated the nature of examination questions. He listened to a detailed explanation by the Dean of College about the college’s preparations to exams, both theoretical and practical, which are held at Al-Numan Teaching Hospital and Abu Ghraib Hospital in accordance with the agreement concluded by the college with the administrations of the two aforementioned hospitals. It is worth noting that the current exams in the college are the mid-year exams for the academic year 2023/2024.

While Pharmaceuticals exam was taken for third-year students in pharmaceuticals branch today. The Scientific Assistant also toured the corridors of the college and was briefed on the progress of the ongoing improvements therein.

At the end of the visit, Dr. Khamis thanked the dean of the college and its Teaching staff for the great provided services in serving their students and the educational process of our dear country.
