National Strategy for Suicide Prevention

College of Dentistry hosted an awareness symposium entitled “National Strategy for Suicide Prevention,” which was organized by Follow-up and Coordination Department of University Presidency in cooperation with College of Education in Baghdad Hall .The symposium witnessed a large attendance from college students and those interested. The symposium addressed important topics about the national strategy, which aims to educate the public about (matter of suicide) and how to deal with it. Specialists and academics in the field provided comprehensive awareness lectures on warning signs, ways to prevent, and how to support affected individuals.

The symposium was characterized by active participation and rich discussions, as attendees expressed their willingness to contribute to spread awareness about this vital topic. This activity reflects the college’s commitment to promoting psychological and social health of students and society in general.
