Master’s Thesis on: Doctrine of Religions of Mesopotamia and Religions of Ancient Egypt

Faculty of Islamic Sciences discussed a master’s thesis on (the similar and different beliefs of the religions of Mesopotamia and the religions of ancient Egypt), in Comparative Religions.
The thesis submitted by the Researcher (Hassan Raad Hammadi) aimed to demonstrate the efforts of Muslim scholars to criticize these beliefs and to identify the similar and different beliefs of these ancient religions.
The thesis included a number of chapters and investigations, the most important of which is the definition of terminology of the study, the origin of Belief in the religions of Mesopotamia and the religions of ancient Egypt, the characteristics of religions of Mesopotamia and the religions of ancient Egypt, deities, magic and sorcerers, doctrine of the Trinity, doctrine of monotheism, doctrine of mummification and criticism of the doctrine of immortality.
