Turkish Vision for its Foreign Policy 100 Years After Lausanne Agreement (2023)

Under the auspices of Dean of Faculty of Law and Political Science (Professor Dr. Mohamed Hamid Abd), Within the plan of scientific seminars for Academic Year 2022/2023, Department of Political Science held its scientific symposium entitled ((Turkish Vision for its Foreign Policy After 100th Anniversary of Lausanne Agreement 2023)) in 4/1/2023.
The Seminar was delivered by professors:
-Assistant Prof. Dr. Ziyad Yusuf Hamad
-Assistant Prof. Dr. Emad Jassim Mohammed
-Assistant Prof. Dr. Hossam Mamdouh Khairo
The symposium included the permanent position of Turkish government and its calls in many forums regarding the centenary of Treaty of Lausanne and what it will use after 24/7/2023, in terms of measures it may take and deem appropriate to protect its national and external security, and in order to recover (according to the Turkish vision) what was taken from it from the lands and provinces during the signing .The treaty, including the issue of Mosul and the dispute with Greece (although there is no article in the treaty ending it on a specific date), but Turks are trying to put pressure on the international community to reconsider that treaty and its provisions or amend it.
