In an Effort to Enhance International Academic Cooperation

As part of the meetings held by the Iraqi University delegation, headed by the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Khamis Awad Zidane, and on the sidelines of participating in the First Medical Conference for Iraqi Doctors, the delegation met with Professor Dr. Ali Nankali, an expert in medical education methods at Queen Mary University of London.
During the meeting, a fruitful discussion took place between Professor Nankali and the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Ahmed Nizar Al-Dabbagh, which addressed the possibility of establishing a mechanism for cooperation between the two colleges in the fields of medical education and student assessment in clinical and practical examinations.
Both sides affirmed their commitment to strengthening academic coordination and exchange of expertise, emphasizing the importance of continuing communication through official channels to reach a memorandum of understanding between the two universities.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Professor Dr. Khamis Awad praised the distinguished efforts made by the Cultural Attaché in London, represented by Professor Dr. Qusay Al-Ahmadi and Dr. Zaidoun Jassim, in supporting academic cooperation.
