In an extensive press interview conducted by a number of local and international newspapers, Assist. Prof. Dr. Huda Mohammed Saleh, the College of Education for Women Dean at Al-Iraqia University, confirmed that the college is making steady progress toward developing its academic departments. It is working to create new departments that keep pace with the labor market, such as educational economics. She also emphasized its interest in incorporating artificial intelligence into the curriculum and leveraging its tools to serve the college and its members.

The Dean indicated that her college places great importance on artistic and sports activities and volunteer work, emphasizing her personal participation in many of these activities since assuming her academic positions. She also emphasized the role of the Educational Guidance Unit in providing psychological and social support to female students, especially in light of current challenges such as the phenomenon of cyber-extortion, considering the college to operate within a “one family” spirit.

Dr. Huda revealed ambitious projects that include twinning with local and international universities, in addition to plans to hold annual scientific festivals that attract talent from various academic institutions. She also stressed the importance of developing university libraries, both paper and virtual, considering that young people are the backbone of society, and that developing traditional curricula and adopting modern technology is the key to building a cultured and creative generation.
