The College of Education Organizes a Scientific Trip to the General Company for Steel Industries

Under the patronage of the the College of Education Dean , Prof. Dr. Omar Majeed Abd, and the supervision of the Head of the Computer Department, Dr. Saba Abdul Baqi, organized a scientific visit to the General Company for Steel Industries, one of the formations of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, on Wednesday, February 26, 2025.
The students were accompanied by Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim Ahmed, and they were received by the Assistant Director General, Engineer Sami Jawad Yassin.
The visit aimed to view the machines and production lines on site to achieve a state of scientific integration between theoretical study and its practical applications and to directly view the scientific and modern machines and devices in the field of their scientific specializations. They also viewed the company’s factories and production lines on site, and visited the iron structures factory. They were received by the factory manager, Engineer Thamer Madhoud, who gave a brief explanation of the nature of the work of this factory, its production lines, and the products that are manufactured according to the latest international specifications, and about the joints of the production lines, types of machines and equipment, and their various capabilities, in addition to the technological approach that controls the production method followed and the types of products.
