The Department of Geography holds a Training Course Entitled (Proposed Solutions to Confront Climate Change in Iraq)

As part of the scientific activities for the academic year 2024-2025 at the College of Arts, the Department of Geography, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, held a training course entitled (Proposed Solutions to Confront Climate Change in Iraq), in which both Assist. Prof. Ghosoun Sobhi Jassim and Assist. Prof. Zainab Sabah Shenishil lectured
The course aimed to reduce carbon emissions through renewable energy, enhance afforestation, improve agricultural and water systems, support research and development, and enhance community awareness. International cooperation is necessary to implement sustainable solutions and protect the environment globally.
