Mr. Assistant President for Academic Affairs Participates in the Meeting of the Permanent National Committee for Community Awareness and Guidance

The University Assistant President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Khamis Awad Zidane, participated in the meeting of the Permanent National Committee for Community Awareness and Guidance hosted by the University of Kufa. The meeting included discussing plans and programs aimed at enhancing community security, strengthening the national fabric, and combating phenomena alien to Iraqi society. It also focused on benefiting from the expertise of academic and research institutions, and coordinating with relevant authorities to support the state’s efforts to achieve social stability. The meeting concluded with a set of recommendations, including preparing curricula to enhance national identity, monitoring social media that spread sectarian and extremist ideas, continuing to hold seminars and conferences aimed at combating takfiri thought, and organizing exchange visits between university students to enhance cultural understanding between governorates.
