Professor Dr. Diaa Muhammad Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani, a lecturer in the Department of Hadith and its Sciences at the Islamic Sciences College at the Al-Iraqia University, had participated in the training course entitled “Scientific and Legislative Miracles in the Qur’an and Sunnah – Contemporary Challenges and Future Visions”, which was organized by the Union of Scholars, Preachers and Thinkers of Iraq in cooperation with the Basira Foundation for Sharia Studies, the International Association of Miracle Scholars, and the UMAD Foundation.

The course was held in Istanbul, Turkey, from January 11 to 15, 2025, and aimed to qualify scholars to integrate Sharia, rational and experimental sciences in the context of scientific miracles.

On the sidelines of the course, Al-Mashhadani participated in the accompanying conference, which was held under the title “Contemporary Visions and Challenges”, where participants discussed the most prominent problems and future visions for scientific miracles in the Qur’an and Sunnah.

These activities aim to prepare well-established scholars who combine Sharia and scientific knowledge, which contributes to highlighting aspects of scientific miracles in the Qur’an and Sunnah, and enhances Islamic thought to effectively confront contemporary challenges.
