Speeches and Qualifications of the Successful Orator as the Session Core at the Islamic Sciences College

The Department of Hadith at the College of Islamic Sciences organized a training course entitled: “Speeches and Prescriptions of a Successful Orator”, which aimed at developing the skills of orators and enhancing their ability to communicate religious messages effectively, in order to disseminate Islamic values and promote commitment to them.

included four main themes presented by a selection of the department’s professors. The first section addressed successful speaking methods, presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Anas Mahmood, highlighting the foundations of building influential oratory and mechanisms to attract the public. The second section focused on common mistakes in the sermon and how to avoid them, presented by lecturer Dr. Mohamed Hamid, reviewing the main challenges facing the orators while offering practical solutions to avoid them.

The third included practical experience in the field of rhetoric, presented by Prof. Majid Hamid, with realistic applications aimed at improving rhetorical performance. While the fourth section was devoted to discussing the qualities to be available in the successful orator. Later, Dr. Mustafa Mahmoud Nasser, highlighted the importance of adherence to Islamic morality and knowledge of forensic science and communication skills.

The session concluded by emphasizing the importance of rhetoric as an effective means of conveying the Islamic message, while urging participants to apply the skills acquired to enhance their positive role in the service of religion and society.
