(Cyber Blackmail) in a Seminar at College of Education

Guidance Committee in the Physics Department organized a scientific awareness seminar entitled Electronic Blackmail. The seminar, which was presented by Eng. Engham Ismail Diab, Dr. Sattar Muhammad Alawi, and Assistant Prof. Muhammad Tariq Jamil, included several axes, the most important of which is the concept of electronic blackmail, and identifying the causes and types of electronic blackmail.

The seminar aimed to identify ways to prevent and avoid electronic blackmail, identify its effects and results, and ways to report electronic blackmail. One of the most important recommendations that came out of the seminar was to encourage society and victims to report electronic blackmail crimes so that this is done in complete confidentiality, and to strengthen religious restraint. Many students from the department attended the seminar.
