The Impact of Human Activities on the Pollution of Tigris River Between Al- Muthanna and Al-Jadriyha Bridges

A master’s thesis entitled “The Impact of Human Activities on the Pollution of Tigris River Water between Al Muthanna and Al-Jadriyha Bridges” was discussed at the College of Arts, Department of Geography, at Al-Iraqia University.

The thesis submitted by the student (Adhraa Jabbar Abdul) aimed to identify the type of human activity, whether it was the discharge of residential, health or industrial pollutants, and to identify the causes leading to water pollution and to state the methods and procedures that must be taken to reduce the problem of water pollution.

The thesis included three chapters. The first chapter was entitled “Natural and Human Factors Affecting the Pollution of the Tigris River Water between Al Muthanna and Al-Jadriyha Bridges”. In the second chapter, the student studied the indicators of pollution of the Tigris River water between Al Muthanna and Al-Jadriyha Bridges. The third chapter was entitled “Evaluating the Relationship between the Pollution of the Tigris River Water and Human Activities between Al Muthanna and Al-Jadriyha Bridges”.
