(No Compulsion) Program

Through the communication with media and cultural institutions, General Secretariat of the Central Library hosted the staff of Al-Iraqiya Tv.Channel to hold an episode of the program (No Compulsion). The episode was titled (The Other in Arab Culture) and was presented by the media figure Dr. Naji Al-Fatlawi. In this episode, the professors of College of Arts spoke, including Dr. Marwan Sabah Yassin from the Department of Quranic Sciences, Assistant Professor Dr. Suad Muqdad from the Department of History, and Dr. Nawas Muhammad Ali from the Department of Arabic Language.

The focus of the episode was on how to create a media and cultural discourse that includes the different other, in presence of a number of students from the College of Arts/Al- Iraqia University.
