Faculty of Medicine Moves Towards “Sustainable Energy Use”

Under the patronage of the Dean of College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Nizar Al-Dabbagh, and within the College of Medicine’s policy towards sustainable energy, the College equipped the Skills Laboratory building with a solar energy system and low-energy air conditioners during the past academic year.
The Deanship of the College also paid attention to the green spaces inside the College, where seasonal flowers, tree seedlings, and green spaces were planted to create a suitable environment for students that matches the College’s status and scientific reputation. In addition, the College corridors were equipped with waste containers of the waste recycling type. Two hybrid cars were previously purchased from Toyota. It is worth noting that the College is proceeding with steps to use clean energy in order to create a pollution-free environment and reduce the phenomenon of global warming.
