The University Council Holds its Second Session and Discusses the Mechanism for :(Entering Times World Ranking)

The University Council held its second session for academic year 2024/2025, headed by the University Rector, Prof. Dr. Ali Saleh Hussein Al-Jubouri.

The Council discussed the mechanism for the entry of Al Iraqia University into the (Times World Ranking) and other international rankings and took the necessary decisions and recommendations for that. The esteemed Council also discussed a number of decisions and obtained approvals, including:

– Addressing critical student cases in the university colleges.

– The council also approved granting an exceptional extension, postponement to a number of postgraduate students, and approved the promotion of a group of professors to the rank of professor. In addition to discussing a number of administrative and technical paragraphs and taking appropriate decisions that would develop scientific research. Assistant Professor Dr. Farqad Taleb, Director of Quality Assurance Department, also presented the (QS Classification) shield to the university rector on the occasion of the university entering the classification.
