The University Chess Championship

Under the supervision of the Dean of College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Ahmed Nizar Al-Dabbagh, and the follow-up of the Head of Student Activities Unit at the College, Dr. Farah Khaled Abdullah, and within the extracurricular activities program of our college, College of Medicine at Al Iraqia University achieved advanced results yesterday, Monday, in the University Chess Championship, which was held at the College of Islamic Sciences in Sabaa Abkar Complex at the University.

Where the student A. Yan Dalir Sabah / a student at second stage  won the first place in the championship in the individual chess while the student Haider Latif Zaghir / third stage and Mahdi Ayad / fifth stage won third place in the chess championship team among the university colleges participating in Al Iraqia University Chess Championship.

On this occasion, the Deanship of the College congratulates the students who won the championship and wishes them excellence in their academic career and achieving the highest achievements in their sports career in service of our dear country and our college.
