Awareness Seminar at College of Education on the Importance of Psychological Support for Breast Cancer Patients

Department of Quranic Sciences and Islamic Education at the College of Education, Al-Iraqia University, in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs and Family Rights Division at Baghdad Al-Karkh Health Department, organized an awareness seminar on psychological support for breast cancer patients.

The seminar, presented by Dr. Tamadhur Murshid Salim/Guidance Committee, College of Education, Dr. Duaa Ali Khalaf, and Dr. Rawida Abbas Taher from the Baghdad Karkh Health Department, included a detailed explanation of breast cancer and the steps that must be followed to detect the disease before it spreads and how to maintain the patient’s mental health during the disease, in addition to publishing posters to students in all departments to spread the concept of breast cancer prevention. The seminar was attended by a number of professors, lecturers and students of the department.
