A Scientific Symposium

On the occasion of the (World Mental Health Day), General Secretariat of the Central Library held a scientific symposium entitled (Drugs and their impact on mental health) in Training and Continuing Education Division Hall, in cooperation with Educational Guidance and Counseling Division.

The symposium was delivered by the lecturer Diyar Khadir Ali, in which she explained the dangers of drug use and its impact on mental and psychological health and its physical harms, such as brain cell damage, difficulty thinking, and poor memory, as well as the role of the psychologist in treating addiction and how to prevent it.
