Joint Cooperation Between Faculty of Medicine and Turkish University of Medipol

The Dean of College of Medicine at Al Iraqia University, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Nizar Al-Dabbagh, received on Sunday, 10/6/2024, Prof. Dr. Omar Abdul Rahman, the special coordinator between Turkish universities and Al Iraqia University, in the presence of the Vice Rector of the University of Iraq for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Khamis A. Zidan , Dean of College of Dentistry, Director of the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations, Dr. Duraid, and  Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Nawar Sahib Khalil.

During the meeting, they discussed holding a special course for the visiting professors (with professor degree) from the Turkish side to Iraq, as well as attending specialized training courses at Turkish university, the possibility of opening up the horizon of cooperation and providing Al Iraqia University students exclusively with medical specialties with special grants for students who wish to complete postgraduate studies in the field of specialized medical sciences was also discussed ,in addition to exchanging experiences between Iraqi and Turkish universities, especially Istanbul Mediapol University, in cooperation with the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations at the University Presidency.

At the end of the meeting, the guest thanked the Deanship of the College of Medicine for the warm welcome.
