(Fate and Destiny in Heavenly Religions)

The College of Islamic Sciences at Al Iraqia University discussed a master’s thesis entitled (Fate and Destiny in the Three Heavenly Religions). The thesis, presented by the student (Youssef Jassim Hammadi) and supervised by Assistant Professor Dr. Walid Khaled Jalab, aimed to clarify the percentages of disparity between the three heavenly religions in the subject of fate and destiny and to explain what Jews and Christians believe in the doctrine of fate and destiny, and what is believed in the Islamic religion in this issue.

The thesis, which was attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. (Kadhum Khalifa Hammadi), included a definition of fate and destiny, fate and destiny in Jewish religion, in Christian religion, in Islam, and fate and destiny in Holy Quran.

The discussion committee was formed under the chairmanship of Professor Dr. Abdullah Abdul Muttalib Abdul Hameed and the membership of Dr. Baraa Adel Masoud, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Ahmed Shukr, and Assistant Professor Dr. Waleed Khaled Jalab as a member and supervisor.
