Cooperation Agreement with Gaziantep University of Islamic Sciences and Technology, Turkey

The University of Al Iraqia signed a cooperation agreement with Turkish Gaziantep University of Islamic Sciences and Technology. Dean of College of Education, Prof. Dr. Omar Majeed Abid, participated in the delegation to sign the agreement.

This visit comes within the framework of the University’s efforts to strengthen its international relations and expand the scope of cultural and scientific cooperation, and the delegation signed a letter of intent with Gaziantep University of Islamic Sciences and Technology. The agreement includes the implementation of a mutual training program between the two parties, the most important of which are:

* A pioneering  for teaching Arabic language  Program:

Al Iraqia University will host a delegation of students from Gaziantep University to participate in the first-of-its-kind Arabic language teaching program at the level of Iraqi universities, to confirm the commitment of the University to support and spread the Arabic language globally.

*Administrative Staff Skills Development Program:

Gaziantep University will provide an intensive training course to develop the skills of administrative staff at Al Iraqia University, focusing on:

Efficient time and resource management.

Exchanging of expertise between the two universities’ administrators.

Continuous evaluation and development.

Enhancing international cooperation.

This agreement comes to enhance understanding and cooperation between the two universities and opens new horizons for developing academic and administrative competencies.
