“Jurisprudential Rules of Shams Al-Din Al-Kirmani “

The College of Islamic Sciences at  Al Iraqia University discussed the doctoral thesis entitled ( Jurisprudential Rules of Shams al-Din al-Kirmani.. d. 786 AH in his book Al-Kawakib al-Durari in Explaining Sahih al-Bukhari). The thesis, presented by the student (Hussam Khadir Abbas) and supervised by Professor Dr. Muhammed Khudier Hameed, aimed to demonstrate the importance of Al-Kawakib Al-Durari’s book and its position among the explanations of Sahih al-Bukhari, especially since it is one of the most famous sources of the circulated explanations.

The thesis, which was attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. (Kadhum Khalifa Hammadi), included the life of Shams al-Din al-Karmani, the importance of the book and the scholars’ care for it, the study of jurisprudential rules, and a description of the version adopted in the research. The discussion committee was headed by Professor Dr. Haitham Abdul Salam Muhammad and included the membership of Professor Dr. Mahmood Shams al-Din, Professor Dr. Obaida Amer Tawfiq, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Diaa al-Din Shaker, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhannad Saadi Hussein, and Professor Dr. Muhammed Khudier Hameed, as a member and supervisor.
