The Ministerial Committee Meets at the University of Mosul

The Dean of College of Islamic Sciences at Al Iraqia University, Prof. Dr. (Kazem Khalifa Hammadi), participated in the meeting of Committee for Following Up on the Recommendations of Conferences held in cooperation with the Popular Mobilization Authority, which was headed by the Director General of Research and Development Department at Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Lubna Khamis Mahdi, held at the University of Mosul amidst a warm welcome by the Rector of the University, Prof. Dr.Qusay Al-Ahmadi.
The meeting, which was attended by The Ministerial Committee’s members. , witnessed a deep discussion on activating the recommendations of previous conferences, focusing on formulating innovative mechanisms to implement them in a way that enhances academic partnerships between Iraqi universities and the Popular Mobilization Authority. Discussions were held on ways to advance scientific research and develop academic competencies, reflecting the pioneering role of educational institutions in supporting national issues.
The attendees stressed the importance of enhancing strategic cooperation between Iraqi universities and state institutions, which contributes to providing pioneering research that enriches Iraqi society and ensures that various sectors are provided with distinguished scientific competencies stressing on the need for continuous follow-up to implement the recommendations, to ensure the achievement of the desired goals that enhance scientific progress and raise the level of academic institutions in Iraq.
For his part, Mr. Hammadi pointed out that these meetings represent a fundamental pillar in enhancing cooperation between Iraqi universities and the Popular Mobilization Authority. He stressed that their outcomes will lead to a qualitative shift in developing scientific research and raising the efficiency of academic cadres in a way that enhances the national progress process and supports the achievement of educational goals.
