Professor Hadi Hussein Mohsen, a lecturer in the Department of History at the College of Education for Girls at the University of Iraq, obtained a doctorate degree after discussing his thesis at the University of Anbar, College of Arts.

His thesis entitled (Emirate of Hajj in Iraq during the two eras of the revival of  Abbasid Caliphate and  Mongol Ilkhanate State 590-737 AH / 1194-1337 AD)

Studying the terms Hajj and Emirate, the emergence of the concept of Hajj Emirate, gathering of pilgrims in Baghdad, the celebrations of the Baghdadis during the Hajj season, the transportation routes that connect Baghdad to the Holy Land, with the most important obstacles and challenges facing the Hajj caravans, and also Iraqi Hajj Emirate during the period of Abbasid Caliphate’s revival by identifying the most important Hajj caravan princes and the most important problems that faced those caravans, in addition to Iraqi Hajj Emirate during the Mongol Ilkhanate state by reviewing the position of the pagan Ilkhanate Mongols and how the Mongols cared for and took care of the pilgrims and Al Hajj after their conversion to Islam.
