(Social and Economic Crisis Management in Andalusia) a New Master Thesis
College of Education at Al Iraqia University discussed, a Master’s thesis on (Social and Economic Crisis Management in Andalusia (250-399 AH).
The thesis submitted by Abdul Rahman Hamid Hussein from the Department of History aimed to highlight the most important social and economic crises in Andalusia and how to manage them, the most important measures taken by the princes and caliphs to resolve these crises and the most important precautionary measures followed by the state in Andalusia to avoid crises.
The study included an introduction, a preface, three chapters, a conclusion, a list of sources and references, and a summary in English.
The first chapter included social crises in Andalusia and ways to address them. The second was titled Economic Crises in Andalusia and Ways to Address Them. The third chapter was about the role of financial control and market regulation in crisis management. The study concluded a number of results, including that the princes and caliphs had a major role in crisis management in Andalusia, and that Andalusians took the necessary precautions to confront crises that occurred suddenly in the country.
The thesis was approved with a very good rating.
