A Master’s Thesis on :(Edith Cresson and her Role in French Politics)

College of Education for (women) at the University discussed a master’s thesis on (Edith Cresson and her role in French politics until 1992).

The thesis submitted by the researcher Rusul Ahmed Hussein aimed to shed light on such a leading figure who had a role in the organizations of the Socialist Party in addition to her ministerial and parliamentary duties.

The thesis included an introduction, three chapters and a conclusion in which the researcher discussed Cresson’s life and the beginnings of her political activity as well as her political role in French governments. The research shed light on her role during her tenure as Prime Minister of France.

The researcher relied on a group of diverse sources, including documents from Jacques Delors Institute, including files from the European Union, in addition to documents from European Parliament, as well as newspapers, most notably the French newspaper Le Monde, and French and foreign books and letters.
