Awareness Campaign to Reduce Drugs in (Karbala) the Holy City
Under the directives of the University Rector, Prof. Dr. Ali Saleh Al-Jubouri, and the follow-up of the administrative assistant, Prof. Dr. Hassan Al-Tamimi, Department of Media and Government Communication, in cooperation with Department of Moral Guidance and Psychological Operations at Ministry of Interior, organized an awareness and educational campaign to reduce the scourge of drugs and their dangers, amidst the presence of millions of crowds of visitors to the Shrine of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, in the holy Karbala Governorate.
The campaign included posting and distributing informational posters and awareness brochures to reduce the scourge of drugs and their dangers, in addition to raising awareness in public places on the road of visitors to the 40th of Imam Al Hussein, and calling for reporting suspicious cases and combating trafficking in this dangerous scourge that threatens our Iraqi society, which was met with interaction, response and welcome from the millions of visiting crowds.
