Handing Over Shields of Malaysian Universities and Discussing Outcomes of the Visit

Vice Rector for Scientific Affairs Al-Iraqia University , Prof. Dr. Khamees Awad Zidane, and a number of members of the University Council handed over the shield of Malaysian universities that were visited to the Rector of the University, Prof. Dr. Ali Saleh Hussein Al-Jubouri. The meeting included a detailed presentation on the outcomes of the visit and the new cooperation and strategies that were achieved to the University Council.

The attendees also discussed the university’s strategy to promote international cooperation and activate the agreements that were signed with a number of prestigious Malaysian universities.

It is noteworthy that Al Iraqia University has signed more than 30 agreements with international universities this year. The requirements for sending a delegation of students for summer training outside Iraq have been completed, and a delegation of students from a Turkish university will be received to engage them in an intensive course to learn Arabic language. In addition, there are a number of other cooperation programs that aim to raise the academic and educational level.
