Launching of the( International Conference on Digital Transformation in Management and Economics Fields/2024)

The activities of the Second International Conference on Digital Transformation, which was organized by College of Administration and Economics at Al- Iraqia University in cooperation with Gilgamesh University, were launched in the event hall of Al-Alawiya Club on Sunday, June 30, 2024, for two days.

This conference comes within the initiatives of the strategic plan for scientific cooperation and framing partnerships between universities and institutions with the aim of continuing to seriously contribute to innovation and development in economics and management studies in accordance with digitalization transformations.

At the beginning, Iraqi Republican Anthem was played, followed by reading of verses from the Holy Quran.Dean of College of Administration and Economics at the University, Assistant Professor Dr. Hamid Ali Ahmed, delivered a speech in which he welcomed the attendees, congratulated the opening of the conference, and called for more research and development in the fields of administration and economics.

After that, the participating research was presented to the scientific committee at the conference, in which Assistant Dean of the College for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Ahmed Al-Saqqal, participated, he expressed his observations through discussion on the topics presented at the conference. At the conclusion of the first day of the conference, shields of appreciation were awarded to the participating members and organizers of the conference in appreciation of the distinguished efforts made.

This conference aims to raise awareness of the concepts of digital transformation in higher education institutions and exchange experiences and expertise between universities. It focuses on the role of technology and the educational environment in developing economic and administrative sectors.

A number of professors and lecturers at the college participated in the conference.
