An Awareness Campaign in College of Education on: (Harms of Smoking)

Department of Physics at College of Education, Al-Iraqia University, organized a volunteer awareness campaign about the harms of smoking, on Sunday, April 21, 2024.

The campaign, which was carried out by Prof. Dr. Zeina Jamil Rahim, and Assistant lecturer Worood Karim Abboud, included Assistant lecturer Raghad Emad Mahmoud, Assistant lecturer Rand Bassem Lotfy, and under the supervision of Head of Physics Department, awareness posters were distributed to students about reducing the phenomenon of smoking in the college corridors, in addition to educating students about the harms of smoking and its problems on the environment and human health.

These campaigns came as a part of extracurricular activities that fall within community service to identify some negative phenomena in society and provide appropriate solutions to them.
