The University Rector Visits the Royal Cemetery in Al-Adhamiya

Prof, Dr. Ali Saleh Hussein Al-Jubouri, visited Royal Cemetery in Baghdad Al- Adhamiya on Wednesday 2/21/2024.

The visit began with the reading of Surat Al-Fatihah to the souls of the royal family. Dr.  Ali Al-Jubouri was briefed on the value and heritage and urban status of the cemetery, which included eight tombs for the royal family, which is considered an extension of the landmarks of Iraq and Baghdad in particular, in addition to viewing the collectibles and valuables included in the cemetery halls wing.

Dr. Al-Jubouri pointed out, “The cemetery is a landmark of Baghdad, in addition to the majesty of its beautiful shape and domes, and its location near our great university and  the immortal Tigris River.”
