A New Symposium on: (Control of Pathogenic Infections in Medical Clinics)

Continuing Education Unit, in cooperation with the Scientific Affairs Unit at College of Dentistry, organized an important scientific symposium on the college’s Ibn Al-Rushd hall, which addressed the issue of combating disease-causing infections in dental clinics.

Lecturer Amal Ibrahim Muhammad gave a detailed explanation of the types of viral infection that may occur between patients, and between patients, medical staff, assistants, and students. She also discussed how to prevent this infection, its causes, and explained the correct methods of sterilization that must be followed in educational clinic departments and private dental clinics.

The symposium concluded with an effective discussion, amid great interest from attendees, as it represented a valuable opportunity to improve medical practices and enhance awareness of the importance of infection prevention in the field of dentistry.
