University Rector, Receives a Delegation from Iranian University of Kurdistan

Rector of the University, Professor Dr. Ali Al-Jubouri, received a delegation from Iranian University of Kurdistan on an official visit to Al- Iraqia University.

Iranian delegation included the University Rector, Professor Dr. Hamid Qaderzadeh, and Dr. Habib Soleimani, Director of International Cultural Relations. During the meeting, ways to activate the cooperation agreement signed between the two universities were discussed, through exchanging visits and organizing joint research groups, as well as activating the visiting lecturer’s program and training students in various specializations.

Dr. Ali Al-Jubouri, stressed the importance of enhancing constructive communication and activating joint strategies in the field of academic cooperation. He also praised the effective cooperation with the University of Kurdistan.

For his part, Rector of the University of Kurdistan expressed their desire to establish research groups in various disciplines, especially in the humanitarian fields, given the strong academic base that Al-Iraqia University enjoys in those disciplines. The importance of cooperation in the fields of artificial intelligence, renewable energy and water treatment was emphasized, because of its profound impact in serving society.

This visit is considered an important step towards enhancing academic cooperation and exchanging experiences between the two universities, and strengthens research and scientific ties to serve academic and scientific progress in the region.
