Center of Development and Continuing Education Holds a Course on Arabic Calligraphy

Center of Development and Continuing Education at Al- Iraqia University held an educational training course on arts of Arabic calligraphy and its types, for five days, at the center’s headquarters in Al-Waziriya.

The course included a number of topics, including introducing arts of Arabic calligraphy, its types and rules, and the most famous calligraphy, such as decorative arts, as well as the materials used in calligraphy.

The course also showed the most common mistakes in calligraphy, how to write letters and sentences correctly, and touched on practical exercises that help participants improve their writing skills.
