The University Team Wins Futsal Championship.

Rector of the University, Professor Dr. Ali Saleh Hussein, received the University team participating in the futsal championship for Iraqi universities, which was organized by Student Activities Department in Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Service of Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for the Central Region, which qualifies for the Republic Championship for public and private universities, that was hosted by Al-Mustansiriyha University.

The University Rector honored the team, which ranked third, after playing seven matches, five of which were won by the University.

Dr. Ali Al- Jubouri expressed his full support for the team representing the University and sports activities, which would enhance students’ interest in various sports activities, as well as create a spirit of sports competition between public and private university teams.
