Al- Iraqia University Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA)

The memorandum signed by Rector of Al- Iraqia University, Professor Dr. Ali Saleh Hussein Al-Jubouri and head of the agency’s office, Jin Yoneda, on the Japanese side, included strengthening scientific and cultural relations and exchanging experiences through (JICA) Seat for Japanese Studies program.

The signing meeting was attended by Assistant Rector of Al Iraqia University for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Khamis Awad Zidan, Dean of College of Arts, Professor Dr. Hussein Al-Bahadli, and Ms. Faiqa Nasser, a consultant in the JICA office in Baghdad, in addition to representatives of Missions and Cultural Relations Department.

Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations at the University, in coordination with College of Arts, drafted the terms of memorandum and coordinated with the organization, as part of the university’s endeavor to conclude agreements and memorandums of understanding that would bring scientific and academic benefits to the university.
