A Celebration Ceremony at House of Wisdom on Occasion of World Translation Day

Secretary of College of Arts Council, Assistant Professor Dr. Ibrahim Talaat Ibrahim, representing the Dean of College of Arts, Professor Dr. Hussein Dakhel Al-Bahadli, attended the celebration held by Department of Linguistic and Translation Studies at (House of Wisdom) to honor the best 30 translators in the year 2023 at  seminar hall / House of Wisdom.

Dr. Ibrahim Talaat delivered Dean’s speech, indicating the College Deanship’s keenness to support translation and translators through the establishment of Translation Department in the academic year 2014-2015 and the establishment of the first simultaneous translation laboratory in Iraq in the year 2016.

Dr. Ibrahim Talaat also conveyed greetings of  Deanship to House of Wisdom/Department of Linguistic and Translation Studies on occasion of World Translation Day.
