Al- Iraqia University Participates in a Workshop on Opening IELTS English Language Testing Centers

Assistant Rector of the University for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Khamis Awad Zaidan, and Director of Scholarships and Cultural Relations Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Duraid Yahya Muhammad, participated in the workshop organized by British Council in Baghdad, on Monday 7/31/2023 to discuss the possibility of opening IELTS English Language Testing Centers in Iraqi universities.

The workshop, which was held at Yarmouk International Hotel in Baghdad, witnessed a review of the importance of opening this center in Iraqi universities, as well as the necessary requirements for establishing centers that contribute to raise the scientific level of Iraqi universities students. The delegation of Al- Iraqia University put forward some important points that contribute to the integration of the project, which was welcomed by the representatives of British Council and the university delegations participating in the workshop.

It is noteworthy that Al- Iraqia University seeks to open up to international cultural organizations in order to achieve its mission and scientific goals and within the framework of the directives of Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
