Presidency of Al-Iraqia University Affirms its Strong Rejection and Condemnation of (Burning of Qur’an and Iraqi Flag)

Presidency of Al- Iraqia University affirms its strong rejection and condemnation of the burning of Qur’an and Iraqi flag.

The presidency, represented by its Rector, Prof. Dr. Ali Saleh Hussein Al-Jubouri, and staff of Al- Iraqia University, including lecturers and employees, issued a statement of denunciation and rejection of the provocative and insulting actions of symbol of Islam and Muslims, the Holy Quran.

The presidency called for the whole world to stand away from contempt for religions, reject racism and abuse of sanctities, and call for peaceful and civilized coexistence among peoples of the world regardless of their different religions, sects and nationalities.
