(Abu al-Hasan al-Amiri ) and His Efforts on Comparing Religions :A New Thesis

College of Islamic Sciences discussed a master’s thesis on Abu al-Hasan al-Amiri 381 AH and his efforts to compare religions through the book Media with the Virtues of Islam, in the field Comparing Religions.

The thesis presented by the researcher Muhannad Khader Suleiman aimed to highlight the distinction between true and corrupt religions, and how they are corrupted after being righteous, and to compare beliefs with Islamic faith and prove their distortion and distance from God’s law.

The thesis included a number of chapters and investigations, the most important of which is Abu al-Hasan al-Amiri, his personal and scholarly life, 381 AH./992 CE, the book of media, subject and method, Islamic faith and its pillars, the preference of the social system in Islam over all other religions, al-Amiri’s critical efforts in the doctrines dealing with Islam.
